Canonical Status

Totus Tuus Apostolate is a Catholic lay apostolate operating independently under the oversight of the local diocese, while being parked under the Apostolate for Catholic Truth for administrative and collaborative purposes.

In accordance with Canon 216 of the 1983 Code of Canon Law, we exercise the right of association among the Christian faithful to promote and live out the mission of the Church in fidelity to Her teachings.

We do not claim to act in the name of the Church unless with proper ecclesiastical approval, and we operate as a private initiative of the laity unless otherwise stated.
