Dominic Chan is a practising litigation lawyer with 18 years of experience, with a Masters in Theology from the Augustine Institute (summa cum laude), a lay theologian and a member of the Catholic Theology Network (CTN). His writings on various contemporary moral issues, public policy and law have been published in legal and other journals. He is also the editor of and a lead contributor to the CTN’s A-Z of DiscipleSHIP, a new Catholic formation program covering 26 essential topics in the life of discipleship.

Nick Chui, M.T.S, B.A

Nick Chui, M.T.S, B.A is a professional educator and lay theologian with an Honours degree in History from the National University of Singapore, a Post Graduate Diploma from the National Institute of Education and a Masters in Theology from the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family. A member of the Catholic Theology Network and a Research Fellow in Marriage and Family for the Christian Institute for Theological Engagement (CHRISTE). He speaks and writes in both academic and popular settings to diverse audiences and has collaborated with Catholic Radio on a series of podcasts on the Synod on Synodality, and the significance of Pope Francis’ visit to Singapore.
He has been a catechist for over 20 years and is currently at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea.

Fr. David Garcia O.P. is a Dominican Friar, holding a Licentiate in Moral Theology from Saint Alphonsus Liguori Academy of Moral Theology. He is renowned for his detailed course on Moral Philosophy, 'My Personal Moral Compass', which discusses pertinent issues in the contemporary modern landscape. He currently lectures at the Catholic Theological Institute of Singapore (CTIS) and delivers courses under Caritas and the Office of Formation & Catechesis (OFC) on various different topics. He also provides classes for young couples in the Marriage Preparation Course (MPC).

Fr. Adrian Yeo was ordained in 1999, holding a licentiate in Canon Law (J.C.L) from Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Canada. He is the current Parish Priest of the Church of the Holy Family, Spiritual Director for the Legion of Mary Senatus and Catholic Lawyers Guild. He is also a Sole Judge at the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore and lectures Canon Law in the Saint Francis Xavier Seminary.

Fr. Avelino Marin has been a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei since 1993. He holds a Doctorate in Biblical Theology from the University of Navarre, Pamplona (Spain). His pastoral experiences include chaplaincies in schools and students’ residences, pastoral work with families and youth, delivering formation sessions on Christian Philosophy and Theology, as well as conducting retreats for the Laity.

Tim Staples

Mr. Tim Staples was a Southern Baptist before converting to Catholicism in 1988. He spent six years in formation for the Priesthood, earning a degree in philosophy from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Overbrook, Pennsylvania. He then studied Theology for two years at a graduate level at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. After leaving the Seminary in 1994, Tim has been working as a senior apologist and is the director of apologetics & evangelisation at Catholic Answers.

Fr. Augustine Tay underwent Seminary Formation in College General, Penang, and was ordained on 1 December 1974, in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the late Archbishop Michel Olçomendy. Subsequently, he took a specialisation in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), Rome. He is currently the Spiritual Director of the Extraordinary Form Community in Singapore, which celebrates the Vetus Ordo of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, Victoria Street.
